- In rare occasions, the sensors of the dance pad may get stuck between
the foam inserts. In order to fix this, please remove the foam inserts
and try again. Once the dance pad works, please put the foam inserts
back into the dance pad. If that didn't work, please contact
us.
3. I have a multi-platform metal pad and is not working properly,

- 1) Turn off the PS2 system or XBOX system
2) Disconnect the control box from the metal pad
3) Turn on the PS2 system or XBOX system
4) Connect the control box to the metal pad
5) Connect the control box to the PS2 system or XBOX system
If this doesn't work, please unscrew the arrow that is not working
properly.
1) Check if the foil underneath the arrow is dirty; if so, please
take a piece of cloth and clean it.
2) Check if the wiring from the metal pad to the sensor plate is connected.
If not, please solder the wire to the sensor plate.
3) Swap the arrow with the opposite side of the arrow (for example,
swap left and right or up and down)

If you have 2 metal pads, please swap the control boxes and see if
it is the control box issue. If it is, you will need to replace the
control box.

- Download the game at www.stepmania.com
- Install it on your computer
- Restart your computer
- Load the Stepmania software
- Go to Options -> Config Keypad / Joy Mapping
- On the first column on the right hand side where it states "LEFT
(MENU LEFT" click enter on the keyboard and step Left arrow on
the dance pad.
- Do the same for RIGHT (MENU RIGHT), UP (MENU UP), DOWN (MENU DOWN)

- Hook the Audio and Video out put to your television, turn on your
television, and turn to the channel that you would normally turn to
watch VCR.
- Depending on the type of television that you have, please try the
following channels: 3, 4, Video 1, Video 2, Video 3, Video 4, 98, AUX.
- On rare occasions, the television may require other channel than the
ones specified above. If this is the case, please try every channel
on the TV
- For Gameplay:
- The arrows will float up to the top of the screen; step according
to the arrows that floats up (timing is very important)

the metal dance pad, and that is because the Xbox is not able to supply
enough power for the metal pad. Microsoft informed that these older

- The major difference is the music and graphics. For systems such as
PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, and etc., the music and graphics are better than
the TV dance pad. For TV dance pad, the games are integrated in the
dance pad; therefore, the music is digital and the graphics are 8 bit.
9. What is the difference between the single player TV dance pad and
the double player TV pad? Back

- The difference is that the single player TV dance pad comes with 50
single-level songs (50 levels) and the double player TV pad comes with
8 songs (each with 6 levels) = 48 levels. 2 single player TV pads CANNOT
be connected together for 2 player usage. The double player TV dance
pad is the only plug and play dance pad that allows 2 people to play
simultaneously.
10. I don't want to spend to much on a metal pad, what is the best

- The best soft dance pads are the "Deluxe" dance pads. These
dance pads come with foam insert pieces which can be inserted between
the dance pad. The reason why they are more durable is because the foam
inserts take more beating from frequent stomping. For PS2, the
most durable soft pads are the PS2 V4.5
Deluxe Pad and the 2nd most durable is the PS2
V4.0 Deluxe Pad. For Xbox, the most durable Xbox
V4.5 Deluxe Pad and the 2nd most durable is the Xbox

11. I want to play DDR Hottest Party for Wii, what do I need?

- All PS1 and PS2 dance pads can use this
adapter to convert the dance pads to Wii system in order to play
DDR Hottest Party. If you don't have any dance pad, you may get these
dance pads which are compatible with both Wii and GameCube. To use
the dance pad on a Wii system, please open the lid on top of the Wii
system. There should be 2 ports where you can connect the dance pads
to.
12. I want to play DDR on my PS3, what do I need?

adapter to convert the dance pads to PS3 in order to play DDR. This
